A combination of electric and gear speed reducers also slow the burr to 450rpm, ensuring a smooth bean feed, as well keeping noise to a minimum.

This ethos extends to the Encore, which can be taken apart for easy cleaning and maintenance. What's more, key elements such as the burrs are easily replaceable if and when the time comes.
