Since April 2011, our Clerkenwell Cafe has been the flagship of our operation, the hub from which we began our journey. We've been fortunate to have the opportunity to serve thousands upon thousands of guests, and have had an enviably-talented cast of wonderful people donning an apron help us do so.
Now, in September 2014 we have opportunity to welcome a number of crucial new arrivals to our fold, and we're casting the net far-and-wide to ensure they're the right people for the gig.
We're looking for:
We have vacancies at both the Barista and Head Barista level, and in each we're looking to fill them with people who adore great coffee and great customer service, and who would like to benefit from having close proximity to coffee sourcing and roasting of an unparalleled standard. With on-going training and development opportunities, and the chance to work exciting events all around the globe, the development potential for a committed and dedicated coffee professional is limitless.
To date, we've taken Bar Backs to Baristas, Dishwashers to Roasters, Baristas to Managers and event organisers, and Apprentices to green coffee buyers, traveling to Central and Southern America visiting farmers and finding coffee. With the right attitude, determination and patience, this could be you.
We're looking forward to hearing from you.
As our production department grows, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join us in a Production Assistant role. For the right candidate, this role will turn into a roasting position, however it will be several months to a year before hands-on roasting begins.
If successful, you'll be weighing out both green and roasted coffee, packing retail coffee bags in a pristine fashion, setting up and breaking down cupping tables, keeping the Production Department neat and organised, and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.
If you're looking to get a foot in the door for a future roasting position, and have the patience to learn and develop over time, you should be getting in touch.

If you possess a keen eye for detail, an outgoing and cheerful demeanour, a desire to learn and develop, innate and genuine customer service skills, enthusiasm and initiative, and fastidious punctuality and presentation, and want to be a part of a team with a great future, then you should be getting in touch.
It's over two years since we went from solely roasting coffee for our own stores, to also working with a number of wholesale partners; initially in London alone, then further afield around the UK. As more and more cafes and restaurants are making the choice to improve the coffee they serve, we need more people to help us train, educate and support those partners to serve the best coffee possible.
We're hiring a Wholesale Support Manager, who will be another vital link between coffee producers at origin, our Production Department, our wholesale partners and in turn, their customers.
